California, here we come!

I had a business trip to Livermore, CA, last week so Robert went with me for a quick vacation. We left on Tuesday, Robert's birthday, and arrived at about 4:30 p.m. (after a 2-hour delay on our flight out of Amarillo), so no real time for sightseeing that day. We asked the hotel concierge and he recommended a quaint Italian restaurant not far from our hotel called Frankie & Johnnie's and Luigi's too! It was really good and we enjoyed ourselves. While I was at my meeting on Wednesday, Robert decided to take a drive down the pacific coast highway, through Monterey and Carmel (no Clint Eastwood sightings) and all the way to Big Sur!
