Lifelong Friendships

I am blessed to have many lifelong friends, and even better I get together with a group of them about once a month. We call ourselves "Girls' Night Out," and we went to school together, some as far back as elementary school. We reconnected at high school reunions and through Facebook, and we so enjoy our time together.

One of the girls moved to Carrollton, Texas to be with the love of her life, so we had a going away GNO party. I decided to create a digital scrapbook for her as a gift, and I asked each of the girls to provide a personal note to Teresa.

Using Artisan digital scrapbooking software and the Love Digital Kit from Creative Memories (with a few embellishments from other kits too), I made an 8" x 8" book. During the party, I hooked my laptop up to my TV and showed the book as a slide show. Easy!

Starting Over

After almost 12 years as a Creative Memories consultant, I find myself starting over.  Creative Memories filed bankruptcy in April 2013 and comes to an end as of tomorrow.  Although a "new company" is set to emerge on November 1, we have not yet seen any of the products.  I am still a consultant of whatever this company is to be called, at least for now.  I will wait to see the products and their quality before deciding whether to remain affiliated with them.

One of my biggest disappointments is their decision to discontinue Memory Manager photo editing and organization and Storybook digital scrapbooking software support. BUT.... I am SO happy that Panstoria, the company who created these software applications, WILL support them!!  And so, my friends, I am happy to report that I am now a Panstoria Artisan affiliate!  Whoop!

If you already own Storybook software, Panstoria will soon provide a patch to allow you to continue to use all of your existing digital artwork.  When you open your Storybook software, you will get a messsage from Panstoria about it.  The Artisan software is only $39.95 - a BARGAIN!!

Panstoria will also soon open its print shop for photo, page prints, photo books, calendars, and more!  The quality will be outstanding and the pricing will be reasonable.
